NanoTrasen Employee SOP

This Standard Operating Procedure is to help guide NanoTrasen Personnel which are aboard the station. NanoTrasen Personnel are considered part of the crew, however are not employed by Central Command. These crew members however have no official commanding power on the station outside of what is explicitly stated in their SOP.

Safety Protocol

  1. As a direct hire of NanoTrasen, your safety is paramount. On Code Red or above, all NanoTrasen personnel should seek shelter, with exception of the BSO who should continue their duties.

  2. In the event of a Code Gamma, all NanoTrasen Personnel are to communicate and gather on the Bridge and await ERT support.

  3. In the event of contract terminations, all NanoTrasen Personnel will be escorted off station by a NanoTrasen marine squad.

Ntrep.pngNanoTrasen Representative

  1. The NanoTrasen Representative (NT Rep) is the physical presence of NanoTrasen on the station, and is considered an advisor to station command on all matters SOP related.

  2. The NanoTrasen Representative has no official command status on station unless granted directly by Central Command fax.

  3. Reports from the NanoTrasen Representative to Central Command must be accompanied by the NanoTrasen Representative's stamp.

  4. The NanoTrasen Representative is permitted to carry their cane and a flash at all times.

  5. All SOP violations should first be reported to the relevant head of the department. If violations continue, they may escalate first to the Captain, then to Central Command.

  6. Any sensitive documents within the NanoTrasen Representative's possession at the start of the shift are to be kept secure. Central Command is to be contacted should any of these documents go missing. The NanoTrasen Representative shall not accumulate additional documents.

BlueShield.png Blueshield Officer

  1. The Blueshield Officer (BSO) reports directly to the Captain and NanoTrasen Representative.

  2. The Blueshield Officer is responsible for protecting and defending members of Command and NanoTrasen Personnel at all times. If it is not possible to protect both, NanoTrasen Personnel are to be prioritized.

  3. The Blueshield Officer may ignore Corporate Law only when performing actions to protect their charge from an active threat, not a potential one.

  4. The Blueshield Officer may not take armory weapons from the armory without a permit. Armory permits may only be issued on Code Blue or higher.

  5. The Blueshield Officer is not restricted in the weapons they may carry, so long as armory weapons stay with the Warden's issued permit. However, their weapons should not be visible and must be holstered or placed in a bag or pocket on any alert level below Code Red.

  6. The Blueshield Officer should focus on protecting their charge, and should not be pursuing potential threats to the detriment of their charge.

  7. The Blueshield Officer cannot interfere with the lawful arrest of a member of Command.

Magistrate.pngMagistrate

  1. The Magistrate is the ultimate judge of Corporate Law and primary legal advisor on station. They are responsible for guiding Command and Security toward lawful, proportionate outcomes in service of NanoTrasen's interests.

  2. The Magistrate is responsible for ensuring that those prisoners that are to receive capital punishment are given a fair and balanced trial, consisting of a jury of 6 of their peers. They are responsible for issuing sentences for trials they oversee that result in a guilty verdict.

  3. The Magistrate may overrule any sentencing imposed upon station crew, but may not pass judgment on any Central Command, or non-station NanoTrasen personnel.

  4. The Magistrate may not overly impede security operations outside of formal legal proceedings. They may ask to see arrest reports, so long as the station is not on Code Red.

  5. The Magistrate may order an arrest on any member of Command or on-station NanoTrasen Personnel for violations of Corporate Law.

  6. The Magistrate may carry a flash on them at all times.

  7. Any sensitive documents found in the Magistrate's locker at the start of a shift are to be kept safe and secure at all times. It is the responsibility of the Magistrate alone to keep the documents secure. Should these documents go missing, Central Command is to be contacted at once.

IAA.pngInternal Affairs Agent

  1. Internal Affairs Agents (IAAs) are considered subordinate to both the NanoTrasen Representative and the Magistrate, and are not considered a member of Command.

  2. Internal Affairs Agents are to only legally represent prisoners who are accused of capital level crimes, however they may choose to provide legal counsel to both Security as well as prisoners of lesser crimes.

  3. Internal Affairs Agents may request access to a department to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are being carried out. This request does not have to be accepted, however denial may be a cause for concern.

  4. Internal Affairs Agents may not significantly impede any department with paperwork or multiple inspections within a short timeframe.

  5. All violations of SOP or Corporate Law should be brought to the relevant department head, NanoTrasen Representative, or Magistrate.

  6. Internal Affairs Agents may carry a flash on them at all times.

  7. Any sensitive documents found in the Internal Affairs Agent's locker at the start of a shift are to be kept safe and secure at all times. It is the responsibility of the Internal Affairs Agent alone to keep the documents secure. Should these documents go missing, Central Command is to be contacted at once.

Nct.pngNanoTrasen Career Trainer

  1. NanoTrasen Career Trainers (NCTs) report directly to the Captain and NanoTrasen Representative.

  2. NanoTrasen Career Trainers are to wear their company-provided uniform and jacket or their issued headwear at all times while on duty. They are free to choose a beret that best matches their primary field of knowledge if they so desire. NCT-identifying equipment should not be distributed to crew members.

  3. NanoTrasen Career Trainers are to be available to all crew members regardless of their Department. You may not only assist a singular Department.

  4. NanoTrasen Career Trainers are not to do a Trainee's work for them.

  5. NanoTrasen Career Trainers are to use NCT Data Chips for training purposes only. They are not to use said access for other purposes.

  6. In the event of a lost or stolen NCT Data Chip, NanoTrasen Career Trainers are to report the incident to their local NanoTrasen Representative or Captain.

  7. NanoTrasen Career Trainers may carry a flash on them at all times.
